BIO

王思萌Simeng Wang is a multifaceted music professional with expertise in arrangement, production, composition and 3D audio. She graduated from Berklee College of Music, majoring in Contemporary Writing and Production, and minoring in Writing for Television and New Media. Recently, Simeng earned a master's degree from the Music Technology graduate program at NYU, where she explored innovative composition techniques in the immersive audio field. She focused on studying computer music and spatial audio technologies, as well as theoretical aspects during her academic tenure. Simeng had the privilege of studying under the guidance of AI interactive music composer Robert Rowe, American composer, and electronic music pioneer Morton Subotnick, and Immersive and 3D audio expert Agnieszka Roginska.
Simeng's creative range spans various genres, including jazz, funk, and electronic music. She is committed to pushing the boundaries of creative composition techniques in music technology. Currently, she has finished her research project, "Exploring Spatial Audio in Contemporary Music Composition: A Multichannel Surround Sound Approach," which focuses on exploring the potential of immersive audio to enhance the listening experience.
With a diverse background in the music industry, Simeng has worked as a game audio designer and composer for game company NetEase Game, and as a commercial advertisement music assistant producer at Emmy Award-winning music agency Syn Music. Her works have been featured in award-winning commercials for clients such as Tencent Game,Union Pay and Volvo.
